Cleave Together is unique in an RPG where you have a game within a game! You get the best of both Visual Novel Dating Sim blended with in depth MMORPG elements. Here’s my Breakdown:

**I will try to be as spoiler free as possible but spoilers below just in case Story – 9/10 – You are a Chef on the RISE! Buuuutt you only graduated so now you start your School of the Arts. Even for a demo, you get to see the journey of personal growth from your main character along with your classmate that you meet. You do meet other characters that are potential love interests (The demo has you meet a few but were not confirmed) but it all feels natural and not forced in the story.

Character Interaction 10/10 – Like I said above, while you see your main characters personal growth and meet a few love interests, the whole cast of characters so far is fun, eccentric and have their own unique personalities. Something for everyone. The teachers were one of the most memorable parts for me as they had me rolling with their accents and one liners (well they are not voiced so accents in my head LOL!) My fav was our Funky Burger Gal which I think you will all love too! Oh yea did I mention that EVERYONE IS HOT!! (As part of the LGBT community, this has my approval)

Graphics 8/10 – Personally, I love the old school pixel art style of the MMO and the images of the characters in the visual novel. If you love classic JRPG/MMORPG style then this game is for you. Even if not, I implore to give it a shot as the developer put so much love and effort into these fun, over the top character designs that adds to the charm of the story. The art really shines in the spells/skills during battle with colorful animations.

Gameplay 10/10 – While my score seems exaggerated, let me assure you that it is not lol. At first, the game will ease you into mechanics as a typical turn based. Then I noticed in my playthrough the intelligence of the AI responding to your attacks. Personal favorite battle was my first fight against our dragoon lizard friend (He uses the “Jump” ability of Dragoons so you will know exactly what I am talking about when you see it lol) I was still going crazy on stream noticing how the Dev purposely gave priority on jump and lower priority on the descend so you are forced to figure out a different way to win. Love a challenge!

Difficulty 7/10 – I guess this depends on the player but even as a seasoned RPG gamer, the difficulty spiked quickly. However, it is not in the way that Dark Souls does it lol, it is more for you to think outside the box and use all your abilities to win instead of relying on “Attack” only.

Overall this game is charming in its story, offers unique gameplay mechanics and with innovative art style that highlights the elements of each character/enemy. Also, it FREE! So why not try it out and I will be def be waiting for the full release.

I have clips of the game on my twitch channel where you can see me fight the Cool Chicken HEHE! https:www.twitch.tv/crimson_furi
